Gluten Free Cake Preparation Instructions
These instructions are valid for either vanilla or chocolate cake with vanilla or chocolate icing.
Step 1
Refresh frosting: Place frosting into a mixer and mix until smooth and soft.

Step 2
Remove outer plastic wrap. Peel paper pan away from cake layer- begin with the sides.

Step 3
Peel away the bottom of the paper pan.

Step 4
Smooth frosting over first layer.
Step 5
Place second layer of cake on top of first layer- flat bottom facing up (this will give you a smooth top)
Step 6
Ice the side of the cake. Use a long stroke with a flat metal spatula to cover cake.
Step 7
Ice top of cake. Smooth top and sides with spatula.
Step 8
Place frosting in pastry bag with a star tip. Decorate edge and the bottom of the cake with a swirl pattern.
Step 9
Serve. Portion into slices. Enjoy.
