    Start the New Year off right with Whole Foods Market and Foods To Live By in 2009 for a healthier new you! Join us every Friday in January for a sampling of some of our favorite Foods To Live By. This week we are tasting recipes that are quick, easy-to-make and nutritious, featuring kefir and green powders. Kefir is a cultured dairy product and is an amalgamation of milk proteins, probiotic bacteria, yeasts and other fermentation byproducts.

  • Unibroue Ales

    7:00-8:30 p.m. $10

    Come in and sample Unirboue ales with us! Unibroue is a Canadian brewery and specializes in Belgian-style brews. Space is limited. Early arrival is suggested.

  • Saturday, January 10th

    Seafood Sampling: Arctic Char

    11:00-2:00 p.m. Free!

    Come in for a sampling of Arctic Char. Fresh with no added preservatives, this fish tastes like a milder salmon fillet and is carefully monitored in fish farms from Iceland. No antibiotics, land animal-byproducts or added hormones are in the feed-all part of Whole Foods Market Quality Standards.

  • Salad Sampling with Bolthouse Farms Dressing

    2:00-6:00 p.m. Free!

    Stop by for a sampling of salad from local vendor Kenter Canyon Farms. We will taste this salad with our new dressings from Bolthouse Farms. Bolthouse uses yogurt instead of mayonnaise as the base for their dressings. They provide less than half the fat and calories of various leading brands - with all of the flavor!

  • Frogs Leap Winery

    Join us for a wine tasting from Frogs Leap Winery. Famous for its sustainable practices, Frogs Leap Winery offers many wines that are also certified organic. Space is limited. Early arrival is suggested.

Kid's Club

Attention kids! Stop by and join our Kid's Club! As a member, you will get your own membership card; this card entitles you to get a coupon for a free product in the store every time you visit and present the card to the Customer Service desk. Also, you will be invited to special gatherings and events only for members! Membership is free and cards are available at Customer Service!

Scrip

We are pleased to announce the return of Scrip! One of our company's core values is to give back 5% of our net profits to our communities. Since many groups told us that scrip is the best way for them to raise much–needed funds for their programs, we are reinstating the program as a service to our local non–profit organizations and schools.

If your organization was actively ordering scrip on a regular basis from us, there is no need to fill out any paperwork. We look forward to working with your organizations through this program!
